Norton plays great defense and pulls away late in 20-0 victory over Westwood

The Lancers showed that they could win a defensive battle for the second time this season beating Westwood 20-0 at Adams Field. The game was in doubt until the final 5 minutes with the Lancers clinging to a 7-0 lead. Sean Ryan then broke free for a 31 yard TD and put the game away. The Defense was led by senior captain Ricky Travers who tallied 14 tackles on the night and helped hold the Wolverines under 50 yards until the final drive. The offense was slowed but Sean Ryan and the "O" got back on track in the 4th quarter when Ryan rushed for the bulk of his 150 yards. The Lancers are now 6-0 overall and 4-0 in the TVL... They travel to defending champion Medfield on Friday Oct. 24th to play the 2-4 Warriors.
